A Hermit built a yacht to save them from the sea
A red hot air balloon is bursting at the seams
The hermit made a sail to take hold of breeze
Old red's stuck in a gale with no sign of release

Look at you look at me

Will you get through the storm
Will you make it
Will you land better than you fall

The Hermit's running out of time (take them down, take them down)
The red hot air balloon has finally left the sky (take them down, take them down)
The hermit moves towards the area of the fall (take them now, take them now)
They spy the basket but the rest sinks to the ocean floor

Are you in there?
Is anyone in there, at all?

Were they in there at all (this has consumed you)
Was there ever a reason for this venture in to the storm (don't let us loose you)
I don't think my yacht can take much more

The hermit's sail has been torn open by the storm (don't let it use you)
The waves are getting larger and there is no sign of the shore

The hermit's yacht begins to sink below the waves
The waters getting in its motion can't be tamed
And on this day when the hermit left their cave
little did they know they're the ones who can't be saved
